Caroline Robinson, BA (Hons) ACMiFounder, Project Manager
Lived and worked in Cornwall for 20 years. Trained in Information Design including Wayfinding and Signage at Falmouth University.
Experience in design for print, online, exhibitions, manufacturing, marketing and sales. Won several national awards. Practical knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS, MapINfo, QGIS, AutoCAD, RhinoCAD and GoogleMaps. Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Caroline created Clear Mapping Company to provide clear, beautifully illustrated maps and skilled technical illustration.
Member of Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), serving on the National Infrastructure Committee. Member of the British Cartographic Society (BCS), providing articles for the BCS Magazine ‘Maplines’.
Lectures at University of Aberdeen and Falmouth University on researching, reading and creating cartography.

Kirstin Coles, BSc (Hons)Marketing Manager
Trained as an occupational therapist and previously worked in London for large hospitals. Now she lives in Cornwall and is the first point of contact with Clear Mapping Company.
Discovered a new passion for travelling after fulfilling a year-long trip around the world. Enjoys outdoor activities including skiing, walking and cycling. Fascinated by maps and navigation.
Nick Bearman, BSc MSc PhDSenior GIS Analyst & Course Director
Chartered Geographer (GIS), Fellow of Royal Geographical Society (RGS) and Associate Member of Higher Education Authority, with 6 years’ experience. Advanced Geographic Information System (GIS) knowledge, working with Big Data.
Currently, using Big Data to work on leveraging the spatial cloud tools made recently available to estimate individual level of CO2 emissions linked to the school commute using data from a variety of sources. Modelling home to school travel routes across a variety of modes (including walking, cycle, car, bus, train, tram, tube). Experimental use of novel methods to communicate spatial data including the use of sound and cartograms.
